Learn how to set up a team account to give everyone tailored access to each site in your account—ideal for agencies and design teams.

Let’s take a look at how to set up a team account on Editor X.

There are 2 ways to get started with collaboration on Editor X. You can either invite someone to a site, which lets them access only that project and is ideal for inviting freelancers or clients.

Or you can set up a team account, which is great for agencies, design teams and companies with multiple employees.

A team account gives each teammate separate Editor X login credentials so they can access and contribute to every site in your account, plus all the shared assets in your design libraries.

For more tailored access control, you can give each teammate specific roles and permissions on each site in the account.

In this video, we’ll take a look at how to set up a team account.

First up, go to My Sites, where you’ll see all the sites you’ve created. Then select Partner Dashboard.

This is where you can join the Partner program—created for professionals like you who build sites for others.

Now you’ll need to fill out some info, including team size, contact details and business credentials.

When you’ve done that, you’ll get to the Partner Home where you can explore lots of the Partner benefits—from getting new leads in the marketplace to client billing and rev share opportunities.

To continue with the setup, select Settings from the left sidebar. Now click Set Up Team. Here you’ll fill out your profile with your team name and logo.

Your team name will be visible to any teammates you invite and it’ll also be added to emails and client invoices sent from this team account.

Now that you’ve got your team account set up, you can start inviting teammates, and assign them specific roles & permissions.

Note: In order to keep everyone’s logins separate and clear from other accounts, any team member you invite to join will be asked to use a different email address for this Editor X account than the one they use for Wix or another Editor X account.

Continue on to the next video in this series to explore the roles and permissions you can set up for each teammate and individual site collaborator.
